RDC III Endorses ₱197.64-B Tier 2 Budget Proposals for FY 2027 Projects in Central Luzon

IBA, Zambales — The Central Luzon Regional Development Council (RDC III) has endorsed ₱197.64 billion in Tier 2 budget proposals for Fiscal Year 2027 to support the region’s development priorities.

Chaired by Zambales Governor Hermogenes E. Ebdane Jr., the council approved the proposals during its first-quarter full council meeting on March 23, 2026. The endorsements cover programs and projects from 32 regional line agencies and 12 state universities and colleges (SUCs).

The budget proposals focus on infrastructure development, food security, social services, economic growth, environmental protection, and governance strengthening, all aligned with the Central Luzon Regional Development Plan (CL-RDP) 2023–2028 and its midterm update.

Ebdane emphasized the strategic importance of the endorsements. “We didn’t just approve the budget; we set the direction for growth,” he stated, noting that the funds target high-impact projects to ensure equitable and efficient regional progress.

RDC III Vice Chairperson Regional Director Nerissa T. Esguerra of the Department of Economy, Planning and Development (DEPDev) and other sectoral officials also attended the meeting.

The Tier 2 proposals form part of the broader budget preparation process and will undergo further review by national agencies.
