ANGELES CITY — JDN Realty Group has launched N-Charge, its electric vehicle (EV) charging stations, across select properties under the Nepo brand amid rising fuel costs following the national energy emergency.
The rollout began with charging hubs at Newpoint Mall and eNtec1 within Nepo Center in Angeles City, as well as at Nepo Mall and Nepo Mart in Pangasinan.
During the initial rollout period, N-Charge services will be offered free of charge to help accelerate EV adoption in the region, the company said.
JDN Realty described the initiative as a response to the growing number of EV users in the Metro Clark area, especially as the country deals with the effects of the State of National Energy Emergency declared by President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. on March 24, 2026.
The declaration was issued in response to disruptions in global oil supply caused by the ongoing conflict in the Middle East, which has driven up domestic fuel prices.
No specific details on the number of charging units, power ratings (AC/DC), or exact duration of the free-charging period were disclosed in the initial announcements.
This marks JDN Realty’s entry into EV infrastructure as part of its portfolio of retail and mixed-use developments in Central Luzon.
