San Fernando, Pampanga – The Department of Science and Technology – Central Luzon (DOST-Central Luzon) announced a temporary shift to a four-day work week starting March 9, 2026, as part of nationwide energy conservation efforts.
Under Memorandum Circular No. 114, s. 2026, issued by the Office of the President, DOST-Central Luzon and its seven Provincial Science and Technology Offices (PSTOs) will be open to the public from Monday to Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
The agency emphasized that the schedule adjustment aims to support energy-saving protocols while maintaining efficient delivery of public services. Stakeholders with urgent concerns are advised to contact DOST-Central Luzon through official mobile numbers and email addresses.
“The four-day work week is a temporary measure in line with government directives. We remain committed to providing timely and reliable assistance to all our clients,” DOST-Central Luzon said in its advisory.
The new schedule will remain in effect until further notice. The department urged the public to monitor official DOST-Central Luzon channels for updates.
