CLARK FREEPORT ZONE, Pampanga — A ₱1.2-billion retirement and wellness resort project is set to rise in Clark Freeport following the signing of a Supplemental Lease Agreement between the Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and Donggwang Clark Corporation.
The agreement for the Legacy Heights Community was signed on March 30, 2026, at the Clark Visitors Center. The project will occupy a 4.9-hectare property and will feature senior-friendly residential units integrated with healthcare and support services, targeting both local and foreign retirees.
Donggwang Clark Corp. (DCC) is the Philippine subsidiary of South Korea’s SunValley Group.
CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera said the project aligns with efforts to strengthen Clark’s position in the wellness and retirement sector.
“Once operational, the retirement resort is expected to generate employment opportunities and contribute to the continued expansion of Clark’s tourism and services sector, particularly in the growing retirement and wellness market,” Devanadera added.
The signing was witnessed by key officials from both CDC and Donggwang Clark Corporation, led by DCC President Ernesto Gorospe.
No specific timeline for the start or completion of construction has been announced.
